Bathers Library Newsletter #19

Hey all! Happy July! Apologies for the newsletter delay! Been kinda all over the place so far this month. Things are a little quiet at the library for the summer season—reading groups are wrapping up, and we’re gearing up for another year at the SF Art Book fair later this month, and for our second annual Summer Symposium at the end of August, so we’re keeping busy! Shop’s still open Fridays (12-6) and Library browsing is happenings Sundays (12-3). We hope to see you around there, or at one or the other of these exciting things coming up!

SF Art Book Fair

See you all at the 10th annual SF Art Book Fair! Open to the public July 23 through July 26, 2026, with a preview on Thursday, July 23. We’ll be there all day/all night every day/night with a bunch of new projects, zines, and some rad Bathers merch. Also catch us on Saturday afternoon in the lounge for some experimental sound performances by (two of our artist game creators) Matt Carney and Amar Lal.

Wikipedia Show & Tell

Don't deep dive alone, let's do it together. Is there a wiki article you think people should know about? The mic is yours tonight (at least for 5 minutes...). Join for another evening collectively sharing the fruits of our thousands of tabs curiosity amongst charming company. We'll mingle, chatter, and ultimately take turns presenting Wiki knowledge of our choosing.
