Summer Symposium 2026

Hello all! We are so excited to announce that early bird tickets are now on sale for our fast-approaching Summer Symposium! The Summer Symposium is a five day series of talks, readings, workshops, screenings, performances and gatherings taking place at Bathers Library and in venues around Oakland.

We have a super packed and amazing lineup to present this year (we’re still working out some of the scheduling!) and we’re really excited to share it with you soon.

In the meantime, we’re offering a limited amount of discounted early bird passes that will get you into events and workshops across the five days of the Symposium. Check out the passes and ticket levels at the link below. We’ll announce the lineup and have regular passes on sale next week. We’ll also have single day tickets available each day of the Symposium in case you can only make it to one or two things.

As always, events will be NOTAFLOF, so if passes or day tickets are out of your price range, consider volunteering, or just come and hang out! If you can afford a pass, grab one! We don’t have grants or sponsorship or any outside financial support. All money we raise from ticket sales goes to paying speakers and artists!
